Llerena Perozo Porteiro (Vigo, 1974). She specializes in communication and its relationship with equality among people and the environment. Since 2020, she has lived in Silleda, where she is creating, together with Andrés Duro, the agricultural space A Gargalleira.
A regular contributor to media outlets (Praza Pública, La Voz de Galicia, Radio Galega, TVG2), she has published three informative books on equality and ecology and several books aimed at children and young adults. Her first novel was published by Editorial Galaxia in 2021. The second was published in June 2024 by Edicións Xerais de Galicia. She was the director of Versátil Servizos Editoriais and its imprint Auga Editora between 2014 and 2020.
Previously, she worked in the creation and management of cultural and equality projects in the cultural sector. She was also an advisor to the Conselleiro of the Environment in the Xunta de Galicia between 2005 and 2009, and worked in audiovisual production between 1999 and 2005.
Since 2001, she has been teaching courses throughout the Galician territory: communication workshops for women, communication for politicians and public managers, for companies, and organizations.
Since 2021, she has also been teaching creative writing courses, which in the last year have focused on the population of incarcerated women in Galician penitentiary centers. She also gives talks and conferences, perhaps the most relevant being those she gave in 2019 and 2022 at the Women's Hub of the Government of the Province of Córdoba (Argentina).
